Hi! I am Yussell Miranda, a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and previously worked as a preschool teacher for many years. This experience shaped my deep appreciation for emotional growth, connection, and the importance of feeling seen and supported from an early age.

As a lifelong Los Angeles resident, I feel a deep appreciation and connection to my community and a genuine desire to give back in a meaningful way. I understand the unique challenges that can be part of the Hispanic/Latinx community. And, I approach my clients with cultural humility, compassion, and respect for each person’s lived experience.

I view therapy as a collaborative space where healing and growth can begin. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and trusting environment where clients feel supported and accepted as they are. My approach emphasizes reflection and introspection, helping clients better understand themselves as they work toward making changes that align with their values and goals.
