Hi, my name is Shirley Delgadillo (she/her/ella), I’m a Marriage & Family Therapy trainee completing my master’s program at the University of Southern California. I have the privilege of being the daughter of Mexican immigrants and the first in my family to hold a Bachelor’s degree and pursue a Master’s degree. I have a strong love for my Zapoteco culture and family, which drives my goals to provide care for Latine and immigrant individuals from childhood through middle age. I am passionate about increasing access to Spanish resources as I recognize the importance of receiving therapy in your native language.

In sessions, you can expect curiosity, patience, and a trauma-informed approach. You will have the space to explore your lived experiences or current struggles and heal in a way that feels right for you. I will approach our sessions in a non-judgmental way and help you to recognize yourself as your own agent of change.

Tengo el privilegio de ser hija de inmigrantes mexicanos, además de ser la primera en mi familia en obtener una licenciatura y cursar una maestría. Tengo un profundo aprecio por mi cultura zapoteca y por mi familia, lo cual impulsa mi objetivo de brindar recursos efectivos a personas latinas e inmigrantes, desde niños hasta adultos de mediana edad. Me apasiona ampliar el acceso a recursos en español, ya que reconozco la gran importancia de sanar en su lengua nativa.
