My name is Mia, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee pursuing my Master’s degree at Pepperdine University. My approach to counseling seeks to create an environment that feels safe, compassionate, and collaborative. It’s important to me to provide a supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I center you as the expert of your own life as we explore during our work together.

We are shaped by our cultural identities, lived experiences, and the environments we exist in. I believe in the power of connection, curiosity, and community as essential tools for healing, and to challenge the systems that foster disconnection, marginalization, and burnout.

No matter where you are in your journey, I want to meet you there so you don’t feel alone or unsupported. As we navigate your struggles, I also believe it’s important to acknowledge and highlight your resilience, strength, and the skills that have supported you this far. I aim to honor the fullness and complexity of your lived experiences and I will always approach our time together with great consideration for the trust and vulnerability that it requires. I understand that it takes bravery to begin this process and genuinely believe in people’s capacity for growth and connection. I feel honored to be a part of this process with you.

Outside of therapy, I find great joy in nature, tending to my plants and garden, and spending time with my two cats (Cami + Juni).
