Kevin Watterson, MFT Trainee
Languages Spoken: English
My name is Kevin, and I am a therapist-in-training currently completing my master’s degree in clinical psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles.
I believe therapy begins with one essential foundation: feeling safe. Without a sense of safety, trust, and genuine connection, meaningful progress is difficult. My priority is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected without judgment.
My approach is relational and collaborative. I focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance so you can speak openly about what you’re going through, at your own pace. Together, we work to understand your experience and find ways forward that feel realistic and sustainable.
My perspective on this work is also shaped by lived experience. I have personal experience navigating recovery and how painful and challenging that process can be. I’ve seen how deeply addiction can affect not just the individual, but everyone around them. I approach this work with care, respect, and a deep awareness of how complex that process can be.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We begin where you are.
