I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach that emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and personal agency, honoring each person’s lived experience while supporting meaningful and sustainable healing.

My journey began in Iran, where I developed an early understanding of collective cultures, resilience, and life under oppressive systems. Migrating to the United States shaped my perspective on identity, adaptation, and belonging, and continues to inform my sensitivity to cultural context, power dynamics, and the complexities of navigating change. After pursuing a degree in Philosophy at UCLA, my path ultimately led me toward psychotherapy and a deeper sense of purpose rooted in service, healing, and connection.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee completing my Master’s degree in Psychology at Antioch University, I have developed an integrative approach to mental health through a trauma-focused lens. I draw from multiple modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (Parts Therapy), and Somatic approaches aimed at calming and regulating the nervous system. These approaches support increased emotional awareness, distress tolerance, and the ability to respond, rather than react to life’s challenges.

Together, we will explore patterns contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and maladaptive coping, while building practical tools that foster emotional regulation, resilience, and improved day-to-day functioning. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process: I will walk beside you as you lead, meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

With a deep understanding of trauma, addiction, and the ways early experiences shape present-day patterns, my goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths, cultivate a calmer nervous system, and develop a greater sense of clarity, empowerment, and peace.
