Hi there!! My name is Connie Mason (she/her), and I am a counseling trainee currently completing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Biola University.

I was born and raised in South Los Angeles and am the youngest of seven siblings. Growing up in a large family shaped my understanding of relationships, communication, and how life experiences and environment can influence behavior. Before beginning my graduate training, I spent many years working in supportive and developmental roles with children and individuals, providing structure, consistency, and emotional support in everyday settings.

I approach my work from a person-centered perspective, emphasizing respect, being nonjudgmental, and genuine empathy. My goal is to offer a compassionate and respectful space where you feel supported and understood. I look forward to working with children and families, including women affected by trauma, and meeting you with understanding and compassion.
