My name is April Mancilla, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee. I am currently working on my Master’s in Marriage and Family therapy at Pepperdine University. I hope to create a welcoming, non judgmental, safe, compassionate environment for my clients where they can share their most inner thoughts, fears and vulnerabilities. Through my own experience with therapy I learned to become resilient, strong, self aware and confident. I want to be able to bring out these characteristics from my clients because I firmly believe therapy is a valuable healing art form that can bring out the best version of yourself and I would be more than happy to guide you there. Growing up in Lennox/Inglewood I fully understand the obstacles and hardships that many are facing. I am proud to be serving this community as well as others. I want to give back to my community in the best way possible, by providing mental health services to those who need it.

iHola ! Mi nombre es April Mancilla, soy practicante de Terapia Matrimonial y Familiar. En el momento estoy estudiando para obtener mi Maestría en Terapia Matrimonial y Familiar en la Universidad de Pepperdine. Yo espero poder crear un ambiente seguro, lleno de compasión y sin juzgar, en donde mis clientes puedan compartir sus pensamientos, miedos, y vulnerabilidades. A través de mi propia experiencia con terapia, aprendí a convertirme una persona resiliente, fuerte, consiente de mi misma y segura. Quiero poder crear estas características en mis clientes por que yo creo firmemente que la terapia es una arte de curación muy valiosa que puede crear la mejor versión de uno y yo te guiaré hacia eso felizmente. Crecí en Lennox/Inglewood y entiendo completamente los obstáculos que muchos están pasando. Estoy orgullosa de poder servirle a mi comunidad y otras comunidades. Quiero contribuir a mi comunidad la mejor manera posible, por ofreciendo servicios de salud mental a quienes lo necesiten.
