Fatima Cervantes is a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker and proud Los Angeles native. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Grinnell College in rural Iowa and went on to complete her Master’s at UCLA. Fatima has experience in forensic social work, maternal mental health, and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. She has worked with pregnant and postpartum women on parole and on probation, adults with developmental disabilities, individuals in the Felony Incompetent to Stand Trial program, and more.

Fatima was called to social work through her passion for justice driven work and philosophy of relationship and connection as a portal to progress and healing. Her theoretical orientation utilizes somatic practices, parts work, and depth psychology. Outside of work, Fatima loves literature and writing, spending time in nature, and movement through skating, dance, and sport.
