Hello, my name is Cristina (They/He), I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee from Antioch University. My interest in the field of psychology began at a young age; family, spirituality, and the immigration from Colombia to the States, all played a role in my curiosity and love for the way that we as humans find connection. I am passionate about people’s lives, especially the lives that happen inside ourselves, the stories in our hearts, bodies, and spirits that seldomly get spoken aloud. My work is rooted in holistic views of people and their context, all the things that we never choose for ourselves as well as the things that we did. How our surroundings sway and shape our identities, our choices, our perceived limits.

A native elder once told me, between our minds and our hearts a mouth was placed. With the heart of this sentiment in hand, I work diligently to provide a calm landing for what hopes to be expressed, cultivating a safe and supporting atmosphere where clients can engage with their thoughts, beliefs and feelings. I come into this work with care and admiration for those who have found themselves seeking collaboration in this way for their lives.
