Hello! My name is Malia, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee currently pursuing my master’s degree at Pepperdine University. As a biracial woman of Pacific Islander and  European descent who grew up in Los Angeles, I bring a culturally affirming lens to my work and deeply honor the unique identities and experiences of each client I work with. I am passionate about helping individuals feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a welcoming and healing environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. I believe in fostering a compassionate, supportive space where you are empowered to process past experiences, tap into your strengths, and build the life you envision with clarity and confidence. My approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, grounded in empathy, unconditional support, and a genuine commitment to your well-being. I strive to provide a space where you can feel empowered to express your unique worldview and navigate life’s challenges in a way that aligns with your values and goals. As someone who understands how difficult it can be to take the first step toward therapy, I deeply respect the courage it takes to seek support. I am dedicated to working with individuals of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, ages, and religions, and it is my privilege to walk alongside you on your path toward healing and growth.
