Ryan Hampton, MFT Trainee

Languages Spoken: English, Spanish, and French

I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee currently attending Pacific Oaks College, with specializations in African American families as well as trauma. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC San Diego and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Since 2014, I have supported young adults and teens working through addiction, trauma, homelessness, and a wide variety of mental health challenges. This has helped me gain a greater appreciation and respect for individuals of all backgrounds and life experiences.

My approach is centered around collaboration, empathic communication, and curiosity. My goal for my clients is to assist them in creating the life story they want to live, by building self-understanding, practicing self-acceptance, and developing the unique personal strengths they bring to the world.
