I am passionate about providing equitable and respectful care and services to a diverse multicultural population: (children, youth, families, couples, adults). As bilingual my Spanish language proficiency has helped my professional passion to serve marginalized, and underserved communities.
Since graduation, I conducted therapeutic interventions with individuals suffering from various mental health conditions, including but not limited to clients with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, difficulties with adjustment, trauma, and stressor-related disorders; relationship difficulties; divorce, grief, partner’s violence, difficulty with gender role expectations; and substance abuse disorders. My overall experiences within a multidisciplinary setting have provided me with many opportunities to strengthen my skills and expand my knowledge on diagnosis and recommendations.
I am confident that I bring a wealth of previous life and career experience, significantly providing greater depth in my clinical acumen. As a mindfulness and NLP practitioner I know the benefits of enhancing attention, reducing stress, and boosting retention. .
