Katara is a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist trainee in the Clinical Psychology Masters program at Antioch University, Los Angeles. Katara received a Bachelor’s of the Arts degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University with a minor in Business. She has a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and build stronger, healthier relationships.
Under the supervision of Open Paths Counseling Center, Katara focuses on fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change. Her areas of interest include working with members of the BIPOC community and transplants to the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Katara is committed to continuous learning and professional growth to provide the highest quality care, and she is honored to walk alongside her clients on their journey towards well-being.
