Jacqueline Joya – MFT Trainee
Languages Spoken: English, Spanish
Hello and my name is Jacqueline Joya. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Psychology-Trauma Studies at Pacific Oaks College. My work experience with children and families has led me to learn about trauma, loss, grief and the unspoken ways that emotional pain can overwhelm. It is these experiences that may urge us to seek professional help and to re-affirm our strength and resilience. It is an honor to be a part of the therapy experience, to listen and validate these experiences in the most profound and mindful way. I seek to learn more about therapy, myself and that connection that binds us as human beings.
