Ana Velouise, MFT Trainee
Language Spoken: English
I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University. There, I specialize in Applied Community Psychology which widens the therapeutic lens out to the community and systems at play when considering an individual’s health and incorporates social justice and liberation principles. My scholarship has focused on generational trauma and perinatal mental health.
Previously I worked in communications for a variety of organizations on humanitarian issues such as homelessness, intimate partner violence, and women’s reproductive health. I hold a Bachelors in Chinese and a Masters in Gender Studies and Public Policy.
My approach to therapy is humanistic, LGBTQ+-affirmative, and trauma-informed. In a space free from judgment, we’ll explore what it means to be you and embrace the complexities on your healing journey.
